Synopsis

A man with no memory of murder. A surgeon with a secret affair. A psychologist with a past she can't remember.

When Danny Okonkwo is arrested for a brutal home invasion, he claims he was in a dissociative fugue. Forensic psychologist Caitlin Morrow is appointed to evaluate him. As she investigates Danny's childhood of blackouts and lost time, she discovers her own husband, Simon, knew the victim intimately.

Photographs. Phone records. A storage unit full of evidence. Caitlin realises Simon may have set Danny up—and that the conspiracy goes back thirty years, to the night her father died. A photograph from that night has been circulating among corrupt police officers, used as leverage to keep her silent.

Now Caitlin must race to uncover the truth before the photograph destroys her career, her family, and her sanity. In a final confrontation on a hospital roof, she faces the man who has been pulling the strings for decades—and discovers the line between victim and perpetrator is thinner than anyone imagines.
